A Little History.

The name Mobile Studio Design comes from a dream that is over a decade old. Jessica discovered early in her career that a project requires constant attention to be successful. She continues to recognize the importance of being accessible to all team members throughout the life of the project.

While pursuing a Master of Architecture degree in Vermont, Jessica formed a plan to one day revitalize her beat-up 1976 airstream into a design/build studio.

Through various internships in both architecture and construction Jessica gained an appreciation for efficiencies that can keep the schedule and budget on track. She envisioned being able to walk outside the airstream to answer any questions with a explanation or sketch.

In early 2017 Jessica Jolin and Cat Sumislaski made that dream a reality by opening a residential design studio in Biddeford, Maine. Let us be available to you-- from napkin sketch through move-in day.
